WIREUP PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: [DATE]

At NovaBoard AI ("WireUp", "we", "us", or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting information provided when you use the WireUp platform, website, applications, and related services ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, when we share it, and choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

A. Account Information

Name, email address, password or authentication information, organization/company name, profile information, preferences, and other information you voluntarily provide.

B. Project and Hardware Data

Project names and descriptions, hardware requirements, circuit designs and schematics, component selections, bills of materials, wiring information, firmware and source code, simulation configurations, hardware architectures, robotics project information, build instructions, uploaded files, AI-generated and user-edited project content, and messages or instructions provided to WireUp AI features.

C. Communications

Your name, email address, messages, attachments, and other information you voluntarily provide when contacting us.

D. Usage and Technical Information

IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate technical location, pages/features accessed, session information, usage activity, error/diagnostic information, and performance information.

Anonymous Website Measurement

For this website, we count visits to public pages and estimate active browser sessions using a random, short-lived identifier held only in the current browser tab. We do not put this identifier in cookies or local storage, and do not include names, emails, raw IP addresses, device fingerprints, query strings, or form content in these measurements. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Daily page totals and hashed event-deduplication records expire after 90 days; transient presence records expire after 10 minutes. Cleanup may be delayed by the database provider. These counts can include automated traffic and are not a count of verified people. Security rate-limit data is handled separately to prevent abuse. We also count distinct anonymous browser-tab sessions per UTC day using keyed, day-specific marker records that expire after 90 days. These are not verified people or cross-day unique visitors.

E. Cookies

We may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, analytics, performance, and website measurement.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use information to create and manage accounts; provide WireUp; generate and manage hardware projects; provide AI-assisted hardware development; generate or assist with circuits, firmware, simulations, and documentation; save and synchronize projects; provide support; communicate with users; detect fraud, abuse, security incidents and unauthorized access; diagnose technical problems; improve WireUp; develop features; analyze usage; process payments where applicable; comply with law; enforce our Terms; and protect WireUp, users, and third parties.

3. AI Features

WireUp uses AI for project assistance, hardware recommendations, circuit generation, firmware assistance, troubleshooting, simulation assistance, and related functionality. Information submitted to AI features may be processed to generate requested output and may be processed by third-party AI or infrastructure providers acting on our behalf. Do not submit passwords, private keys, highly sensitive personal information, or confidential information you are not authorized to share.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information as a business model. We may share information with service providers for hosting, databases, authentication, AI processing, analytics, error monitoring, email, payments, support, and security. We may disclose information when required or reasonably necessary for legal compliance, lawful requests, protection of rights, safety, fraud investigations, or security. Information may also be transferred in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

5. Your Projects and Intellectual Property

You generally retain ownership of content and intellectual property you create or upload. Using WireUp may require us to store, reproduce, transmit, process, and display project information as necessary to provide requested features. We do not claim ownership of your hardware designs, firmware, schematics, or other project content merely because you use WireUp. You are responsible for having rights to uploaded content.

6. Data Retention

We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts and projects, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and prevent abuse. When no longer reasonably required, information may be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise disposed of in accordance with applicable law.
